Loose fit chinos are cut from a DPM: Tigerskins cotton, and are a nod to the adoption of the grailed camouflage pattern by the U.S. and CIDG. 

Originating from the French Lizard camo and worn by the Vietnamese ARVN, when U.S. allies came to advise, special forces units employed local tailor shops to remake their uniforms from the same camouflage as their counterparts as a sign of solidarity.
