DPM: Golden Tigerskins

This casual blazer has been cut from a DPM: Tigerskins cotton twill, a nod to the adoption of the grailed pattern by the U.S. and CIDG.

Originating from the French Lizard camo and worn by the Vietnamese ARVN, when U.S. allies came to advise,  special forces units employed local tailor shops to remake their uniforms from the same camouflage as their counterparts as a sign of solidarity.

Maha Tailor Shop

Originally a stand alone tailor shop, trade boomed when the U.S. Navy accepted the invitation to advise in the Vietnam War and the Maharishi Fine Tailor Company emerged, providing modifications and customisation for US soldiers and uniforms for the Civilian Irregular Defence Group.
