These embroidered trackpants reference the souvenir or 'Sukajan' embroideries that many US soldiers commissioned whilst on tour in Vietnam or Japan to commemorate their time there. Given the reality of their situation, many of the forced US recruits of the late 60s may have preferred a tour of Africa, if given a choice.

1960’s era U.S. Army cotton sateen twill, reproduced exclusively for Maharishi. Used in AW21 to reproduce the uniforms worn by the U.S. Navy Riverine and helicopter support units, as well as for Eastern utility wear of the Civilian Regular Defence Group.
