Description

The photographs - taken using Kodak Portra 400 35mm film on a manual Leica MP - were shot over a number of years. It wasn’t until Ed took a closer look that he realised there were connections he could neither explain nor had he planned. The images created are the result of incidental harmony: a happy accident. The book is presented as a series of diptychs that work to create what Ed describes as a “sort of visual Haiku.”

The foreword, written by David Kolbusz, explores determinism and fatalism. It urges us to contemplate fate and connection. “There is comfort in surrender” he finalises.
